Default Some More Questions ...

.. which haven't been answered up to now:

In the game, there are map settings of "Monarchy", "agricultural society", "ordinary", "fallen empire", "empire" and "dark ages" available (in that order). Yet the manual speaks of "new empire", "monarchy", "interregnum", "empire", "agricultural" and "dark ages", apparently in cronological order. Is the following table correct?
Code:
__GAME___________   __MANUAL_____
Monarchy          =  Monarchy
agricultural soc. =  agricultural
ordinary          =  empire
fallen empire     =  interregnum
empire            =  new empire
dark ages         =  dark ages
What is the difference between "random" and "non-random" computer players?

Is there some kind of defensive bonus in woods/mountains?

Do units heal better in cities/villages/hamlets, and is this true for non-human units,too (draconians, elves etc)?

Kalidor the Rain Bird has a special button, which takes one the another screen that has only the entry "flood" to click on - but nothing happens if one does?

1. I would think empire in manual is the empire in game, and ordinary being the second empire. Would need to load up to see which one is earler. The earlier periods should have more magical stuff and less mundane I believe.

2. I think for non random you choose which leader your opponents are, random lets the computer choose for you.

3. Most definately yes, from experience. Attack a dwarven mine in mountains guarded by goblins. Notice how you usually slaughter the critters in a field, but now your swordsmen are missing like crazy.

4. No idea, would need to do some testing.

5. Have never got the rainbird yet. Ability looks similar to one of the caster leaders or priests.

I know that when I click "flood" with the water bird, or however its called, nearby forests die.
