This works fine for me in a turn based game.But I always load population manually and then send them from the planet screen.You might try it this way......

Neither the green and red crosses or the Planets: Colony/Breathable interface seems to show those planets which makes the good colonies if you use a conquered race with different planet/atmosphere...

Speaking of research, anybody else like to see an option to start the game somewhere between the current medium and high tech?? So you get to the good stuff sooner or in a shorter game, but are not...

I'm pretty new at this game,so there might be a way to do some of these already that is not in the manual,but I'd like to see the following:
