For the planets, you'd have to make extra effort to make sure the Extra Huge planets and Stellar Moons remain in the game. I'm not sure if this would mean modifying the FQM files or not.

People would enjoy it. So there is the benefit right there.
Munchinism is easily avoided - just have a setting for Racial Experience minimums and maximums (default to 0 and 0) during game setup.

I have this same problem on my work computer. On my home computer, the Ship Route lines show up fine. If I try the same turn on my work computer, I get nothing. Weird.

Though they are called "anti fighter missiles", they are really just regular Point Defense. The to hit bonus starts at +80 for level 1, and goes up by +10 each level.
