Re: STACKERS, newbie game, (started)

Twitching?

That makes me sound like a meth burnout or a half-eviscerated mouse under a cat's paw. Couldn't you come up with something a little more dignified?

Re: STACKERS, newbie game, (started)

In Blackguard's defense, I do have one reason to believe that he still qualifies for kiddy-pool games like ours. The reason is that he hasn't been a terribly effective communicator. Even in the first...

Re: STACKERS, newbie game, (started)

For those of you who are wondering about the big drop in my army strength, I FRAPS'd the battle. You can watch it on YouTube.

Re: STACKERS, newbie game, (started)

Sorry to hold up the turn guys

I'm trying to get my formations to work correctly in simulated games. It's really a challenge to get dom3 to do simple things like having a commander walk into...

Re: STACKERS, newbie game, (started)

I like Verjigorm's answer better. The halting problem and the busy beaver problem are counterexamples to "nothing is impossible" that you can work out on paper. Division by zero is something my...

Re: STACKERS, newbie game, (started)

So, you would (in theory) write a script that runs on the dom3minions server? Does that mean you have root-level access? Who owns that server, anyway?

Re: STACKERS, newbie game, (started)

Five commanders were tasked with casting an absolutely critical spell with no gem requirement. None of them ever cast the spell or developed any fatigue. They whole battle milling around pointlessly...

Re: STACKERS, newbie game, (started)

I'm glad that the dom 3 engine occasionally says "**** you, I will not carry out that script" without any explanation. Really keeps the game from getting boring.

Re: STACKERS, newbie game, (started)

Since I had the privilege of observing (what I assume to be) Ermor's last stand in (118) I might be able to offer a little advice. Keep in mind that this is my first MP. Don't take any of this too...

Re: STACKERS, newbie game, (started)

Mmmmm pretender porn

It's so gratifying to finally see the root of Blackguard's power

And that tentacle is just to die for! :p:p:p

Re: STACKERS, newbie game, (started)

Well, I'm back in town now and I have regular Internet again. I can continue to take turns, as it doesn't look like anyone has taken over shinuyama yet.

Unfortunately, my northern neighbor grew...

Re: STACKERS, newbie game, (started)

Thanks for the extension

unfortunately, I drove to the nearest wifi (a bar with probably more taxidermy than I've seen outside of a museum) and found that their router and my laptop can't get past...

Re: STACKERS, newbie game, (started)

Could I get an extension until 2PM US Central time, Tuesday?

I'm stuck in a rural location for memorial day and the nearest restaurant with wi-fi is closed.

Re: STACKERS, newbie game, (started)

What happened to the turn schedule? I definitely didn't expect to see T9 when I got out of work today.

Re: STACKERS, newbie game, (started)

I wonder if there are any shambler reefs on this map. The ratio of coastal provinces to sea provinces is much lower than normal.

Re: STACKERS, newbie game, signup here

I'd like to join, if it's not too late. I am new to MP, but I've read a couple of AARs and it looks like a lot of fun. Shinuyama is my pick.
