Re: the Patch 3.29 is released

Hi Gandalf,

When I'm trying to upgrade to v3.29 ( and 3.28 before ) I get the error message : " cannot create config file "
As a result I'm still playing v3.00.

Anybody know how to solve this...

That's what I started with ... but after going through the enchantments I noticed the Carrion Woods Ritual so I reckoned I needed Death Magic on my pretender if I wanted to cast that spell.

The thing is I want to try The Mother of Monsters D5N4 for a Carrion Woods Strategy with LA Pangaea.

Pangaea seems to have nice sacred units and summons.

installing Dom

I tried to install Dom II on my new computer but I don't even get beyond entering the CD-key.

I'm sure I'm entering the CD-key correctly, so what's the problem ?

btw I can't use the numbers on...

I understand you can make a blood sacrifice to increase your dominion.
Is this dominion increase guaranteed or is it a gamble (percentage) just like praying ?

I've played (started up) about four games now with Vanheim (up to turn 15 or so) and I must say their Blood Magic ability has got me confused.

I really don't see the "synergy" with their Air Magic...

If you want to bloodhunt isn't it advisable to take a slight growth scale ?
To compensate for the losses and/or to let your provinces grow above 8000 pop where your Blood Hunts apparently stop...

Getting back in Dom.

I just noticed the Knight of Avalon has 3 Map Movement
but there's no Man Commander with 3 Map speed.
How can you ever use that 3 map speed. ?
Maybe pick a God with that...

As I opened Turn 40 I got the 1500 Gold , Magic Item and Fire Gems again.
That's twice in exactly 40 turns, which comes down to a 5% average exactly.
