hmm... I guess I'm one of the few to build lots of bases... My homeworlds normally have 1 or 2 spaceyards & 1 or 2 defense bases (varies dpending on max size researched)... beyond that portals direct...

You know it's strange, but some games the AI has actually made smart decisions against me (well pretty much)... like massing 30+ ships 1 sector from my strongly held planet & then rushing 20+ ships...

yes resupply generation does not work (yet), as an ability... But when that ability works they will use it. Until then I've been experimenting with other methods of providing a similair effect...
