Drones were a feature that did not make the final Version. I think they were a cross between a fighter and a missle, remotely pilotable but single use. MM may add this feature someday in the future...

Comparing SuperNova and SE IV will be interesting. Before IV came out I would alternate between the two games every few months. The bigest diference is that SE IV has warp point and Stars does not....

You need to have sensors in each system you are concerned with. One of the best ways to do this is to deploy a single "sensor bouy" in each system. You might want to have a combination of sensors...
