Could the company fund a few hours of developer testing to find out what keeps the game from working with Win XP.

thanks for the offer! I may get back to it later. For now I enjoy reducing the race I am playing and playing some maps of the legendary campaign. Gnome 4 was really hard with all gnomes one skill...

My initial attempt to create a new race failed, but making minor modification to race was successful. Made the elves do less damage and then played Elf campaign Level4, which was fun.

Build 2 hags - one in the top city, the other either in the 2nd from top city or in the capital. I pick the latter planning to kill the bottom archer

We build a missiónary and a hag.
Turn 7: in the bottom an archer stands next to the gold mine. Move the hag back to the mine attacking the archer.
Attacking the top archer twice kills it. We cant...

In case you still need some tips:
Turn 2: Hag
move south and occupy the only city outside elf archer statues
Turn 4: Hag (and you start influencing the 2nd city)
Turn 5: bring 2nd hag into attack...

I agree that the races are very well balanced. At least to the extent, that this is possible at all, given the goal that the races should differ a lot from one another. Which they do and I like it.

I agree in most parts. Going first is better than going second in most cases.
But my observation about gnomes is different. If I go second with gnomes I have got 1200 gold, this is 400 extra fro...
