Yes, it only make sense that as the passengers jump off in terror, there would other fingers on the tigger to pick them off even if it's just a single semi-auto rifle.

With offboard atry it is impossible to stop rogue arty from firing as Andy points out.
Offboard arty assets are best used as CB fire against other offboard arty.

Even worse if you have just moved in that position, and then go to the bombardment screen at the end of the turn to find out that the 155 mm battery is going to bombard it again and there is no way...

I just heard about it a week or so ago and it appears they have been around for awhile just never mentioned.

I always look for the little telltale puffs of smoke when been fired on by atgm's,and sam teams,then plot arty on them asap.

The first 3 battles begged for an ambush,and that's what the poles do best:)
I got DV's in all first 3.
First battle was dicey at first though.
The last one was a different animal all together...

I used different tactios and got up on the ridge in the middle with as much infranty i could,placed the 37mm atg's TKSm's on the left and right flanks and ambused the gerry's,got a DV and never had...

Fixed means no movement pts.
In the case of preset demolition, just press the fire key.
However as in this battle is a ambush situation,you might wait on that, depending on your tactics;)

As gingertanker said it is better to fire at a distance and kill the threat,,if you got in such a jam you are forced to run over grunts, then shame on you.

I know for certian,Iraqi's surrendered in huge numbers in 1991 annd 2003, when faced against an M1 and it's accompaing forces,no need to grind them into hamburger;)

I highly doubt other NATO forces use the same.
