Well I also got my watchers the traditional way. I just also summoned some sleepers.

Also, I was wrong. Sleepers do in fact have magical leadership.

Honestly, I don't even need the patrols. I just think watchers are cool. And I'm playing as Eriu, so I'm already using Sleepers (I find them very thematic). But aren't watchers magic...

Each spell enchanted a province with a mystical menhir granting some sort of property.

They see me using gift of reason on a watcher, they hatin' because since the watcher has no overland movement he can't patrol.

But, now that enemy dominion is almost gone, they will speed things up considerably. (lvl 1 priest with a temple in the province has 60% chance - 5%/enemy candle = 55% of succesful preaching, lvl 2...

It's commanders I want to unload. They can really clutter things up in late game.

And I hate playing as LA Ermor or Pangaea because of all the chaff getting spammed. I DONT NEED ANYMORE...

pisachas are bandar ghouls, and ganas are vana ghosts.

Both are undead, ganas are ethereal, and pisachas should have poison claws.

Do you have access to inquisitor? That could tip it for you. An inquisitor profit can turn things around. You can also give him the Sword of Injustice, the Sword of Justice, or maybe the ark. Or...

An army of preachers can't hurt. Though I don't know enough of the game's mechanics to tell you whether or not it helps.
Just keep conquering provinces, smashing enemy temples, and making your own....
