There were a few mods that were in progress I was following but there hasn't been anything new in a few months.

A verbose showed that it was failing to find files that I had renamed to all lowercase, so I deleted the Expeditions directory and the extracted it again and just made the changes to game.ini and...

It crashes for me as well. The first time through I was able to visit several planets. The second time it crashed on the first planet I tried to visit.

I was able to get it to work by clicking quickly.

I first played with the Falcon and there were two stars named "Correllian". Next I played with the cruiser and got two C3-P0s.

Yes, I know they stop her, but 99.9% of the time Esmeralda shows up early and the Frogs and robot don't show up until later, so they aren't much use.

I like both the multi-missile launcher and the hydra missile launcher. If I know I'm going to face the pirates or Cambrians I like to load the hydra as it's very effective against them.

Esmeralda never made sense to me (esp. on the frigate) so I remove the two lines that let her appear.

I haven't missed her at all.
