6 is my personal minimum in MP, Especially I will go this low If I have cheap temples and/or Preachers. Unless Im losing a war and my enemy has high dominion. I have never ran into both those factors.

Ive played them several times SP and I really liked the new changes. I think the number one thing you really need for them is a rainbow pretender. It really helps keep you viable and blood hunting...

I would vote yes for VP on half the captials.

And Cradle is fine if we have under 10 people.

Scales are good off and I dont like CBM but maybe worthy heroes?

I find any medium infantry nation the AI does great with if it gets a good start. For example Formoria generally mixes well in my games with Giants and lots of firblogs. Also the Jotuns do great...

I think Diplomacy is the number one key to survival and victory.

I think also you cannot recover from bad pretender design. While outthinking your enemy is important you do also need the tools to...

I think it is knights during battles. So you dont really notice them because it just looks like your opponent build a couple indie knights.
