With the mod I'm working on, ship components can get pretty expensive, so I'm being generous with myself. Right now, around mid game a few of my modded AI's have around 250 ships, and alot of them...

Ok. I've completely destroyed all units with this race, and continued on to see if it would start to build ships. Unfortunately, it went on to build even more units.

The AI construction file is identical to another race that has 156 ships, and going strong.

I'm not sure mood has anything to do with it. The race has 30+ Space Yards, and there are no ships in...

I just loaded the game, and checked.

He has no ships. He *did*, but I blew up his remaining ships. He should have had alot more by the time I arrived we met.

They're not Xenophobic.


I don't have an attack ship in the explore queue, Krsk, but that goes for all the races. Yet two still explore with their colony ships.

They are there for a reason. And the reason for the "must have" is for a minimum ammount of ships, not to regulate the ammount of a full fledged military.

Because it can severely punish the AI for not having a decent economy. The ammount of military should be scaled to their economy. Otherwise, they'll either crash, or lack a decent fleet.
