Good lord I have no idea what I've managed to do. After having problems with changing sound effects I reset everything back to the way it was... And nothing works anymore, it still crashes at 30%...

Strange things started happening when I switched the sounds around (changed existing ones) - Now the game won't load past 30% at the 'louding sound effects' section.

Is there a checksum somewhere...

I believe I know why the game made a hash of what I submitted before - it's done the same thing to me. I remembers the pic index slots you had before, and when you plug in the new components.bmp it...

Right, that's showing up just fine... in range box #11, with the appropriate damage dec after range 10.
From ranges 1 to 10 the damage is coming from somewhere else. Perhaps the 'beam' definition...

I suspect that I might be.. in which case I would have expected either a crash, or an absolute hash of the images. But neither happened. I got images, but the wrong ones (since slot 1 was replaced...

There is no 'images' directory in the campaign directory tree. There's only the one components directory under the image directory, which is directly under the starfury root. P&amp;N has an image...
