What I missed in SE IV was more possibilities to modify the AI performance. That is much better in SE V.
Second the combat was very unfair: first all defender ships fired before any of the attackers...

If you play solo games against the AI, I would try SE V. Balance mod has a much better AI than anything I have seen in SE IV. Kwok is just too modest to mention this!

Sorry but 15-20 seconds is definitely not "astronomical" in my opinion. I spend much more time to make my turn than processing the turn, even in games as advanced as 2450.0!

This is indeed a very strange bug: supply and ordnance capacities for planets of more than 1000000 seem to cause the problem. But why only for simultaneous games??

Yes in simultaneous games you must calculate the time to arrive to the colony with the fleet distance and its speed. And as you said, if both fleets have the same distance and speed, let the troop...

The problem as far as I know is that in SEV the ships will not attack a planet if there is a troop transport with troops present. That is apparently hard coded.

In my personal mod I made these "XY only" damage types skip all armor but not the shields. I agree that now they are too powerful.

But for me the fix was to download and replace the campaign files again. Did you change the sound files in the Multiverse campaign 2 now?

From what I see the component Multimedia Pack still does not include the additional pictures Kwok uses in his Balance Mod: for instance small supply and ordnance storage.
Is there a problem or why...
