Re: Underwater Gameplay Improvement Mod (UWGIM) v0.82

Played a bit more yesterday with this mod.

The female water troll (the Conjuration 2 W2, 5 W gems spell, name escapes right now) is just amazing value for the price for certain nations. Hello Bane...

Re: Some thoughts on EA Pangaea with CBM

I might be wrong, but in my experience Luck scale affects when dormant pretenders wake up. With Luck 3 (and Carrion Woods without Luck 3 is really not worth it) I've always had the pretender wake up...

Re: Forge of Godhood - started

Was hunting in my capital with 0 unrest, so seems I just was unlucky then. On average four per turn would be more than nice, as I'd need just two per turn for the sacrificing (would be nice to have a...

Re: Forge of Godhood - started

I think you hit the nail with that :) Now you have to ask yourself: Did you play to win in this game, or did you paint yourself as a target?

Now, we all play multiplayer games because we want to...

Re: Some thoughts on EA Pangaea with CBM

Easy enough to research during the first 10 turns?

Opinions differ of course, but to me it is obvious Carrion Woods in Early Age is excellent at the start of the game, the sooner the better....

Re: Forge of Godhood - started

So others should sit and wait on the side-lines patiently for their turn while one strong nation eats up them one at a time? That is quite an interesting way to expect people to act

Re: Some thoughts on EA Pangaea with CBM

Yes, the problem with the carrion dragon is that it is hard to get all points spent if you take N6 D5, wether awake or dormant. There always seems to be 2 points too little, or 27 points too many :p

I've wanted for some time try Marverni in MP, because I suck with them in SP :) Please sign me in as Marverni.

Re: Heracles - LA game, Running

I have had Bone Grinding scripted for my pretender in every fight. He's chosen not to cast it though. I attempted to assault with mages scripted with BoneGrindx4 on three occasions, each time they...

Re: Heracles - LA game, Running

This turn is the last I will take, I'll go AI after that. My capital will fall this turn, and I have absolutely zero chances vs the Tartarian legions and elemental royalty C'tis is fielding... It...

Re: Some thoughts on EA Pangaea with CBM

Lingchih, in vanilla Dom I would *always* take the Gorgon. In CBM not.

There are two main reasons why I would always take a Gorgon over a bull in vanilla Dom3.

1) The bull in vanilla Dom dies...

Well, the rules were posted by Fantomen in the first post of this thread. There are just four rules in this game, so anybody signing up must have read those through. I mean, it's just the first 20...

This is a very miniscule guide to give a couple insights on how I play CBM EA Pangaea. I love to play Pans, even though I rarely seem to actually get on a roll with them :) However, during the past...

Re: Magellan: All-EA Nations CBM game, 3D spherical map, Running

It means troops with low HP will die in masses, especially those with low prot. Look at Pan unit graph to get a view at what Armageddon does to Maenads (zero prot, low HP -> Pans did lose about 19...

Re: EA Agartha - the game's red-headed stepchild (CBM)

The Shroud is always there, with the Earth buffs available protection will be pretty nice even without "proper" armour.

Unless I am entirely mistaken, *any* regeneration drops the chance to 1/8...

Re: EA Agartha - the game's red-headed stepchild (CBM)

Regeneration means less afflictions for those getting wounded. Also, later on the SC's with high HP pool will love the extra % regen they get from the bless.

Re: EA Agartha - the game's red-headed stepchild (CBM)

Not sure what you mean with that, but I read it as you suggest oracles (and others) can be blessed more than once per battle. That is not true. However, perhaps you mean the ability to cast...

Re: Forge of Godhood - started

True that (even though there are blood mages available, but they can't move masses), but all it takes is one empowerement. Either empower one dryad to D1 or a Revenant to N1, and there is basically...

Re: Forge of Godhood - started

So do I :p

Sadly the troop generation (which was why I did cast CW) seems to be pure crap (I got a grand total of three manikin this turn), but the gem income sure rocketed. If I just had...

"We lost our god to the giants of Ashdod."

"Check."
