Those numbers seem like they could be accurate, except I think nations has been quoted as closer to 60 than 50. Dominions II had more like 1000 to 1100 troop types, so 1500 seems reasonable. But...

Priest King: Relief Spam in battle. Equip with a Thistle Mace, cast Relief, and you get unlimited mage energy... so a few Blood Priests can cast Summon Imps over and over without wasting slaves on...

Because they have a smaller tax base, Order is more essential. Similarly, when a country's tax base shrinks, tax rates have to increase to maintain the same level of government.

When you consider the lifespan of a typical SC, I don't think aging will hurt them much. Limne? Rhuax? Bane Lords? Ice Devils? They've been around for centuries, and will probably stick around...

Use the fire gems for Flames from the Sky. Fire is not a strong conjuration path.

Earth, on the other hand, is excellent... Clockworks, Statues, and Mechanical Men are all good, while Crushers...

Weapons and shields (and helmets, for 2-headed) stack for their stat bonuses, but not special bonuses (like resistance). I can't think of anything else that stacks with identical items.
