Re: Has anyone ever had any success with "shards" spells?

I've always wondered if a high accuracy mage would get anything out of Shards or if it's just inherently spread over half the map. The thing is, by the time I can improve the accuracy enough to...

Re: Help me about Dominions 2

The more times I read your example the more confused I get. If you had about 50 Heavy Cav and they were divided into three Groups (say 17/group) and all the losses were in the center group (roughly...

Also, some magic sites (seen or hidden) increase or reduce unrest.

Re: What is the PC Game of the Year 2003?

I'm gonna go with Temple of Elemental Evil as a long time D&D addict and a Troika fanboi. Mind you I've played a lot more Dominions II, so draw your own conclusions...

While Pug was in the field chopping off barbarian heads and generally having a good time, his senior advisors were meeting:

"He is too reckless, we must counsel him to stay at..."
"He is our...

Re: [MP Game] The Eye of Chaos

It should be noted in the Annals of Time that Pug was not, perhaps, the most intelligent of the Pretenders to arise during the Ascention Wars. After forging his great sword Shard, Pug left the forge...

Re: Oh boy alot of questions

As far as magic schools go, what you research, especially early on, should primarily be stuff for your national mages. Those big (5+ sphere) requirement spells are all quite high in the research...

Re: Castle Bonuses: redundant or symbiotic?

Heh - my pleasure. When you're using resource heavy nations (Ulm, for example) Fortified Cities can be a major boon. You may find that some of the other options work well with nations that aren't...
