I always missed that in Dominions 2 and hoped it would be in the third game. Being able to hold shift to set waypoints through several territories (or even better, to just select a distant territory...

The problem is that the way it is now you can't fight together, whereas if alliances were implemented, you could fight together. It's more than preventing accidental encounters.

It'd be really nice. It'd also be a good thing if you can just set locked teams before game-start, like in most RTS games.

Right. Doesn't have to be 3d, sprites work, too.

Close combat could work in an FPS game. And there is some shooting (archers, javelins, hurlers, axe-throwers, and so on);).

Yes, an in-game, step-by-step tutorial is BADLY needed. Make it very detailed, like that in Stars!, and use scripts (same random events, AI recruitment, etc. every time you launch the tutorial) so...

I think Dom III should have several degrees of stealth, from 0 to 100 or something. The higher the level, the harder the unit is to detect.

#stealth(x), where 'x' is the level of stealth.
