Bugs are just one part of the story. They could have waited for another bugfix before the review, but OTOH strategy first (or whoever else was responsible) could have done the same before launching...

If it is similar to the "randomized" SE4 map generation then it is not such a hell of a coincidence. There seem to be only 4-5 maps that the random generator can pick from.

Knowledge is the only problem. I was willing to learn, I looked into Oleg's AI changes and into the AI tutorials, but it only increased the confusion. I do not even know where to begin.
