My question is WHY????
If you have 24 item in a list waiting to be built then you would have to change it every few turns any way because of tech upgrades, bigger ships etc.
8 seems enough....

I say increase the limit of units in space and leave the mines alone.
If you shoot a explosive device, no matter it's size, you basically stuff it. It would be disabled or destroyed by the gun...

That would be unfair as only one player could benefit from that change.
I made planetery shields components which were a lot smaller than the massive but again these can only be normal shields. ...

Do build the storage facilites as when you do a wholesale upgarde of facilites it can cost you a lot!!!
A friend just did an upgrade from res 2 to 3 buildings and it cost him 120,000 minerals...

The chance of an event happening each turn is in the settings file.
I don't think that a sun will go off unless the event tells them to and then it would go to the stellar file to check.

I was unable to change the shields from normal to phased, it's not an ability!
How did you do it SJ???
If the change can not be made they are worthless in the end game stage.

Did you change the chance of an event to 100% as well?
Also remember that it will do a event per turn and that might be a pop decrease or a something like that.
So you might not get a nova each...

I think that it would basically game over for anyone getting it!
As of now the worst that can happen is a loss of one system to a nova or black hole forming.

I think that the game is fine with maybe a couple of tweaks.
Such as weapons stop firing if you run out of supplies DURING combat.

From a couple of combat I think that the extra range works OK, I am still looking at the overlaoded weapon for the extra damage.
So it lookd like missile mounts do work!

I would love to see the LR Scanner work but I don't see that ability in the data files!
