Re: Serenity - MA Newbie Team Game (running)

Heh kamamura, its not like anyone is giving away sensitive information. And if they did I didn't force them to! They have every right to keep whatever they want a secret......

Re: AAR: The Abyssian Chronicle

Interesting read, thanks!! http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif I wish more people did these, they're awesome. Who were the giants who defeated you in the end? I didn't know the...

Re: Serenity - MA Newbie Team Game (running)

Quiet game threads suck! Anyone care to do any speculating based on the score charts?? http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif

Looks like Ryleh lost a province or two, probably...

Re: Hall of Shame

Hm, no I respectfully disagree Moderation, I don't think it'd be a good idea to codify a set of laws for all players to obey. The solution is simply to make the terms of the NAP clear to whoever you...

Re: Hall of Shame

Well, I agree with kasnavada - if I'm going to betray someone, I give out hints in my RP with that person or on the boards. If they don't pick up on it, then it is there fault. Likewise, if someone...

Re: Hall of Shame

That doesn't make any sense, Moderation. You should play the game as your character - this is a standard, constant rule of roleplaying. If your character is evil then play evil. If your character is...

Re: Hall of Shame

I vote IndyPendant be put in the hall of shame. That sort of behaviour is pathetic and annoying. This is just a game. You shouldn't take it so seriously that you actively get angry and want to ruin...

Re: newbtopia- ea game for new players(recruiting)

Is there any way to check or edit the pretenders you've created? I can't seem to do it without actually starting a new game.

Re: What kind of game would people like?

Moderation: I agree completely, but there really is a lot of good roleplaying going on, if you read the right threads. There were a couple I read on the second or third page where the guys were...

Re: What kind of game would people like?

Huge games are the best. In my opinion. Like 16 players on massive maps. Woot. Other than that I have no preferences.

Re: newbtopia- ea game for new players(recruiting)

aight i'll take lanka. i vote for a free for all rather than a team game but im cool if everyone wants to go team. I prefer toe former because it seems to encourage more diplomacy, or that's what I...

Re: Anyone want to play a quick newbie game?

8 would be cool I mean, if you're gonna play a multiplayer game you should make it a nice sized one. That's my opinion anyway.

Re: Anyone want to play a quick newbie game?

I'm not a big fan of raising money and resources above what they are regularly. I like the way the game has been balanced on the default, plus I'm new so it would be best like llama said to get used...

Re: VesperBat - LA game for new players - open

Whoa, Kyosti freaked about abit. No worries there mate, don't let the joking get to you, we're not about to gang up on someone for being slow on their turn. That'd be ridiculous!! Plus it would make...

Re: Serenity - MA Newbie Team Game (starting)

Yeah I [censored] up badly on my pretender as well. Anyway executor there are no teams aside from the ones you want to make through diplomacy.

Re: VesperBat - LA game for new players - open

Damn jomon you need to pay better attention homie. Isn't it common courtesy to take the next turn immediately if you're the last one to go?

Re: Anyone want to play a quick newbie game?

Eh, f that, who cares about weakness. I just want to be cool. I play nations I find cool regardless of their strength, just like in all games, may lead to my downfall lol but who cares!

Re: Serenity - MA Newbie Team Game (starting)

Obviously not, since everyone is finished their turn and it is not hosting. Is there a reason for that kdawg? I guess it does make the hosting intervals more regular, but it slows the game down a bit...

Re: Anyone want to play a quick newbie game?

How about becoming good with the unpopular nations as a solution? Personally I really can't stand playing as the most popular ones like Ryleh, Ermor or Agartha - a combination of playstyle and lore...

Re: Serenity - MA Newbie Team Game (starting)

Oh, heh, the first post says that it hosts every day at 24:00 EST. My bad. But, it's 23:14 here in CST, so I assume it should've updated already? Is there something wrong?
