Did you guys give planets/storms/ect. special abilities that aren't found in the normal game? like shield generation to a planet, or anything wierd like that... if so perhaps that's the problem.

Oh, BTW here is a little tidbit you might find interesting.... if you give missiles a range of 21 (it won't cause a crash!), 2 things happen:
1) The missile can target ships at that range or less....

And in the third line (value 1), you need to enter the number of techs it gives you or, if it's unique ruins, the number of the unique tech it gives you.

Well, they are kinda standerdized...

Projectile: "The Control Group"

Laser: Slightly heavier, Better range and accuracy, lower damage

Particle: Heavier, slightly better range/accuracy,...

That's possible, thought about adding PD's for Mesons and anti-polorons...

As far as the techs that I am linking the PD's to (except armor), they're all starting techs in my mod...

This is what I'm changing UNIQUE techs too in my mod:

Removed all former "techs"
All given techs can be research to lvl 3 (start with lvl 1)

1) Monoliths... I removed monoliths from stellar...

Ok, I see your concerns with the CM's... but don't overlook the accuracy penalty... MANY will miss (maybe make it -30/-20/-10 That makes them 80-60% less accurate than PDC's)... so it's kinda up...

Well, "hydospheres" could be added to the list of planet types... "Liquid or Water Planets", Geospheres.... well either they burrow in rock or ice?

As for stars, that would be cool, BUT it...

Good Idea about the 4x damage, I was going to add a few new types of missiles/launchers.

BTW, we use RAP armor now on tanks, it dosen't deystroy the armor... it's a shaped charge explosive that...

I know it's hardcoded... but I don't think it would be that difficult to change, instead of it pulling the atmospheres from hardcoded variables, it could pull them from a txt file... I don't know...

That starting pop. boost is also VERY important, that way you can build new colonizers at your new system AND have population to use them... else you'll have to go through the BH system...

Well I haven't checked it... but it shouldn't matter, since the crashes occur when combat is complete but before the game returns to "normal mode" (sorry forgot to mention that)

I think your missing the point.... Bases already have ENDLESS supplies, thus adding a QR is pointless (same thing with supply storage)

Not bad... and it won't require as many images as you think.... one set of "additionals" for the race(s) you set to have this ability.... and one set for defaults (if a race dosen't have the ships...

Yeah, the numbers between the planet's pic file & the sectortype.txt file is off by 1! Found that one out Last night... really annoying. The reason is that sectortype.txt starts numbering at 0,...
