Careful guys, as I have heard before on this forum, if you are playing the AI, be aware that the filtering can give you a very significant advantage, as the AI does not have the filtering available.

I think a lot of people get into large core forces, simply because the starting default 3000pts is enough for a large force in the early years.

I play with between 3000-3300 points starting off....

Very interesting mobhack. Yes, I thought this was unusual. My core isn't wee, as I have 3750 core points. So from the sounds of it, the AI can purchase mines very early on, as opposed to the case...
