I'd say, my game philosophy is much the same. I play for fun. To please the stories in my own head. Sometimes for other reasons. Any aggression I show in games is slow. I don't play a Borg or Rage...

You can mod the ability to give other races racial tech, even though they can't research it. It requires tweaking what is and isn't specifically racial. Kinda complicated, but I or others can explain...

Has anyone ever tried a massive fighter/missle combo attack? I think if you made really fast fighters, they could engage the enemy before your ships close enough to fire missles. Usually the only way...

The delay is the reload rate.
Some are set to 30 turns, so they never refire in one round of combat.
Most fall in the 1, 2, or 3 Category...as far as reload

It's the "Ally Mine."
Dunno, it's a cool trick, but what would you do with it. That is unless you wanted to seal off part of your empire from even yourself for enough turns to make it worth...

I honestly don't know what happens when a plague reduces a planet pop to zero, but you could mod it to kill off even a large pop pretty quick. Might make it a viable kamakazi weapon.

Speaking of which, it's obvious why over 255 as the number of systems produces an RCE, but has anyone ever tried to enter a really small number like 5 or less.
