In a game I played as LA Pythium, I didn't get a 1N1B reveler until year 2, and that was with a 1 in 4 chance.... Sometimes random is random. Remember that each additional recruit is still a 1 in...

I wouldn't worry about it too much; you got mobbed pretty effectively before you could get a blood economy going. Not much can withstand that sort of onslaught.

This is my first multi-player game, and I must say that players certainly script differently than the AI does! Still, we shall see what sort of counter-strategy might work.

They do not respawn. So if you have some mercs that are too valuable to let others have... well, they knew the risks they were taking when they chose that career path.
