Hi,

While in the map editor, you may use a very useful advanced command: the " shift * " , which allows you to input new height values to a HEX (under certain conditions - you must experiment)....

Special Forces have better mobility, visibility etc..., thus you may use these units as shock units.

Anyway, the infiltration routine that Chris mentioned, isn't a good aspect of the game...

In WinSPMBT, an infantry unit, when marching in a road, may travel up to 7 hexes (350 meters in one turn (5 minutes)....

Making a historically accurate battle doesn't mean that you will make a balanced or even enjoyable battle!!

But even with random maps it would help a lot if you could find some military archives...
