newbie, can\'t find answer in faq
Hope someone can help, I've recently got the game, created a race, got stuck in, and was saving designs along with the empire. Now I'm playing a second game, developing different techs I have all these created ship designs and no delete button, how can I start afresh so I don't have the baggage of ship designs attached to my created race?

When saving your empire file, there is an option to save ship designs with it. Simply select no.

Many thanks  I need to update anyway, however, tried most of this evening to download the 1.84 patch and am having no joy 
Anyone else having a similar problem, I just get an error 404 type page!
