Colony types and the people who use them
I'm looking for some ideas on how to effectively use the "colony types".
Does anyone have a DefaultColonyTypes.txt they'd like to share with me?

Ah. Very interesting. Don't know what a "Listening Outpost" would entail, however.
Is there "a" webpage that's the main depot for all the mods?

All of the mods for SE4? Certainly! http://www.malfador.com/se4mods.html
A listening outpost could be a moon that has a long range scanning facility on it, useful in some mods or for Psychic races.

Wow. That's alot of mods to wade through. Are there any mods in that list that are considered standard? Notable mods that are popular? Well done mods?

Re: Colony types and the people who use them
I like to use colony types - but its a bit more tiresome in simul. games because the computer names 'em first and then you have to change them to what you really want and that's a PITA.
If only you could right click on the name in the planet display and choose a new colony type.

I suggest you play all of the mods. Some of the oldest classics are TDM, Devnull, and Pirates & Nomads mods.

Agreed, Kwok. A few interface annoyances. Does the mouse scroll wheel work for anyone else?

Wait until the next patch is released, and then the scroll wheel will be supported.

Re: Colony types and the people who use them
Really? Sweet action.
As we speak, I'm downloading your quadrants mod. Will the map generator use this mod? Does it implement all the new images in the image pak?
*any idea when the patch is due?
