Which Minister Controls that Ship?

Hi,

I just got my SEIV cd and have started to get into it. I have tons of questions and here is one. If I turn on several ministers such as re-supply, explore, How do I know which minister controls any given ship? In most cases I can guess but I would assume the game gives me some kind of indication as to what any given ship is up to?
