Still unexplained behavior for heat scale
How can it be, in summer season, that my Abysia capital goes from +3 to +2, when it is in my dominions, and no hostile borders border it? Aside from a bug, what can be the explaination?

Re: Still unexplained behavior for heat scale
Stealth prophet?
I have found as well as pocus that at times for no reason at all; my scales will change without any accompanying message, deep in my own territory and domain in full effect (8 or 9)(including my capital) for no good reason other than what I assume is a stealth unit. Though most of these provinces have 20+ defenses (to deal with Call of the Wind) and I assume they are doing their job patrolling.

Re: Still unexplained behavior for heat scale
I think that if your dominion is weak, it will attempt to shift to the default value for the season, which would be +1 heat for the summer, +1 cold for the winter, and neutral in spring/fall. It doesn't matter on which side the deviation is. It's not too logical that if you have +3 heat it would go to +2 during the summer, but that's the only explanation I've been able to come up with when observing the shifts.

Re: Still unexplained behavior for heat scale
Zen : it was at turn 3, so I dont think a player prophet (its a MP, and there is no AI) could have done that!
HJ : JO told us that the deviation was +1 toward heat in summer. This was summer, so it is even less understandable that I lost a heat scale.
I think its a bug...

But he didn't specify whether it's a deviation from your current scale, or a deviation from 0 that is set as a default value for the season. I'm not saying that it's not a bug or that my explanation is right, but from what I've been able to deduce from the scale behaviour, this explanation (that the heat scale tends to converge to +1 heat or cold regardless of whether the scale is more or less than that) seems plausible.

Re: Still unexplained behavior for heat scale
Scales are tends to do weird things, and I never understand those. The devs should make some various tests about the scales. Sometimes the scales are totally insane in my games, and I have no idea that why are they changing. I cannot figure it out at least...maybe some message should help, that why are they changing...but maybe those are bugs?
