Hey, I just got into this game Last week, and am really loving it.
Played one game, decided it wasn't going so hot, started up another (on the first map, all AIs present, normal difficutly) and am on turn 210 or so and loving it. I'm making slow but steady progress on the two remaining AI nations (two steps forward, one step back)and should probably win the world in, oh, say, another 100 turns or so, assuming that nothing goes terribly wrong.
Not exactly like the games you people are talking about here where it's decided by turn 40, but I'm happy with it.
However, that's not the point of my post. While reading topics here, I noticed a neat map idea - make the inside of a dungeon or somesuch. It intreagued me enough to look into it. The result is, IMO, not amazing, but commendable given my first try. It's supposed to look like one of those overhead views of a dungeon (or, in this case, a small manor). It's only 58 provences large, compleatly land-locked, and due to the way I made it, it has chokepoints up the wazoo (all the doorways and corridors). I played a dozen or so turns on it, to make sure it worked. It does, so I'm content.
If you're intested, I'm hosting the file
Here.

Next project will either be a larger (and hopefully prettier) Version of something like this, a traditional map, or (something that looked intreaguing while setting up my map) a very odd world, where not all roads can be travelled in both directions.
