Adding provinces to map picture or How to find coordinates?
I spent several hours to make a good looking tga file for a custom map. But I dont have any ideas on how to add provinces to my map within the Dom2 map editor.
I already explored that it has to be simple because every map uses its own .map file with coordinates for each province.
Now, is there a grid that sown the coors on maps, or how do I have to find the right coors?
Thx in advance!

Its not really coords. There has to be 1 pure white pixel in each province (255,255,255) and that white cant be used for anything else.

Thank you, Gandalf! Always Online, eh?
So, the only pure white allowed are the 1x1 province "markers". Roger That.
edit: I got it! Very impressive. Minimum trouble, maximum fun.

Re: Adding provinces to map picture or How to find coordinates?
What's the best way to add these single white pixels?
I have an image file that I created using GIMP, but it's unclear to me how to use GIMP to add these single white pixels. Perhaps there is a program other than GIMP which is better suited for the task.
Thanks a lot,

Gimp is well suited for the task of making provinces. Select the smallest brush (circle 1x1), white colour and then use the pencil. Just make sure you don't select the fuzzy circle or use the fuzzy paint brush.
