Faery Queens healing ability
Hi,
How does the healing ability of Faery Queens work?
My assumptions are:
1) affects both troops and commanders
2) not affected by how many troops are in the province. In other words if I have a specific afflicted unit that I want to have healed it won't matter if I put that unit alone in a province with a Faery Queen or put it in a province with a Faery Queen and 100 other afflicted units.
3) Very low chance of healing because I have yet to observe a unit actually get healed from an affliction.
Thanks for any insight on this topic.
John

Re: Faery Queens healing ability
That seems correct. Units WILL be healed eventually, but can take awhile, and some afflictions, like the Never Healing Wound, are particularly persistent. Also, undead and lifeless units may not be healed by this method.

Re: Faery Queens healing ability
IIRC, each afflicted unit has a 10% chance per turn to be healed, except that a "never" healing wound has half that chance.

Re: Faery Queens healing ability
Hi, a further question. If undead cannot be healed by Faerie Queen's ability, will anything heal undead battle afflictions? For example will the Chalice or GOH heal them? I'm trying to figure out how to heal Tartarian Titans...
Thanks

Re: Faery Queens healing ability
The Chalice and GoH can heal undead, but the Faerie Queen and Arco Priestesses cannot.

Re: Faery Queens healing ability
Also I've heard several times that Faery Queen's healing abilities is weaker (slower) than other 3 methods of healing that exist in Dom3. Not 100% sure if it is correct though, I didn't pervorm any experiments to confirm or deny it.

Re: Faery Queens healing ability
This is odd. I equiped the chalice to my pretender (who was all jacked up with afflictions) and I could swear afflictions on other commanders dropped off as well.
does the chalice heal everyone or just the guy holding it?
Anyone recall off hand?

It heals everyone in the same province for certain, and sometimes appears to heal other units in your dominion as well.
