SEIV under Virtual PC on Mac OS X?

Does anyone know if Space Empires IV will run under Virtual PC on Mac OS X (10.3)? If so, what is the performance like? I'm thinking of jumping off the Windows ship and buying a top of the range Apple Powerbook (1.5Ghz G4, 512Mb or more of RAM, 128Mb Radeon 9700 graphics), but was wondering if SEIV will still be playable under such a system,

I would think that it should. It runs on MSVM in a windows environment. SE4g running on MSVM
