Players wanted for PBW PvK Proportions Game #3
Game #3 was lagging due to the admin (me) not being in the game, and being way too busy to notice one of the players is apparently AWOL. It just lost another player, so will be paused until new players fill the missing two spots. This game is just beginning, and features a custom map designed to fairly focus the action on a small set of systems, while allowing for some explorations and other peculiarities too.

This is a good game folks, if you like Proportions, it's great, as it only has about 5 players all of whom have turned in orders pretty quickly (except for the single player who just dropped out) and the game has JUST started. Someone sign up!!

A 48 hours turn around, though PvK can give you more time if you ask him so. The first turns take about two minutes to do, and thankfully Proportions games are mostly free from the tedious micromanagement of mid and late game.

And, really, we we're zipping along very fast until we stopped - Like Alneyan says, the early turns for proportions take very little time - literally, like, two minutes. So, in a five player game with such a quit turnaround, I think we could be in deep pretty quickly - we just need someone to take over that other empire!
So...whadday think?

Three turns in 2 days at the beginning, if I remember rightly. The only thing holding it up was the repeated lateness of a single player. Now he has been kicked it should crack on famously.

Oh, it's AI controlled already. I hate that. The AI makes such a clutter of pointless ship designs. But I'll go look and see if I can find my SEIV disc...

Since we are so early in the game, the AI has not done anything too dangerous for your Empire; at worst, it has built useless ships, and has forgotten to do the colonisation research required to get started (in Proportions 3.XX, you have to do ten levels of a cheap research before being able to colonise anything).

I've applied for the position. But I really just want to drop in for a look-see. I'm really rusty at SEIV.
(And I really should refrain from the temptation of joining any games with Alneyan in it. *Sigh* I'm such a masochist.)
And it's a really bad sign that whenever I try to go to the new SEIV folder I find myself in the Dom2 folder instead...
