Quick question: Undead Prohet cannot preach ?

Just wondering about my "Ulm - Black Forest" game:
I made an prophet out of a Vampire Count. (Undead, but not unholy). He get the Icons for blessed, Prohet and 3 holy skills. I can build temples with him.
But he can not "preach". (I'm in hostile dominion).
Is that something special or can undead prophets generally not preach the teachings of God ?

Undead priests in general can't preach AFAIK, not just prophets, but he should still have auto dominion spread.
