Mod info --mounts

How does the AI determine which mounts to select for different guns?
Also, is there any way to have the ai take one mount for X tonnage of gun and no mount for the remainder? (etc)

Working on AI modding...with my luck I will figure it out the day before SE V lands in my mailbox....
