Nifty. Forums (and other parts of Shrapnel's site, like customer support / contact) are out for most of 2 days, there's never a notice on the site's front page about it, and even now - still dead silence on the matter.

There's no notice because the primary IT guy for Shrapnel has just worked close to 40 hours already this week in his real time job .
We had some sort of disk drive problem that the hosting company can't track down and appears to have disappeared. We may replace the drive as a precautionary task this weekend but don't hold me to that .
