Quick Start settings (SEIV)

Only the races available can be manipulated (in settings.txt). I think the settings used are more or less whatever the defaults are when you start a new game.

Which settings (quadrant type, number of computer players and so on) are used when starting a Quick Start game? Can I manipulate these?

A few of the entries can be changed by editing the data file that the list of choices comes from, e.g. you can rearrange the entries in QuadrantTypes.txt so that the type you want is the first on the list.

Saving your favorite game setup can be used to make your own "quick" setup with the options of your choice.

You can only save the game setup in SE5, not SE4 as the thread is about.
