Default Hotseat Game

How about a hotseat game. I was reading the thread about this game being an expensive coaster, and someone mentioned hotseat, and I thought, "hey, I've never heard mention of a hotseat game on the forum, so why not test the waters." SE4 on a Saturday, over a fridge full of beer and snacks would be fun. A way to network, as they say. I may be putting myself out on a limb here, but read the info below and shoot me a line if you're interested and in the neighborhood.

I have a small apartment in Manhattan. The wife is going out of town for 3 months, so I have the place to myself. Male and 24.

God this sounds like a personal ad.

Damn, some of my favorite memories are of 'hotseat' games. Warlords(the first one) and Moo2 come immediately to mind. Kinda like Magic the Gathering, a group of people in the same room having fun. Kinda hard to see the look on a persons face when you glass their planets in pbem.

Hotseat is the best way to play. Nothing like seeing the surprised look on a players face when you do something totally unexpected!

I agree on the hotseat, Currently playing one with 3 of my friends and 9 computer opponets. I'm allied with one human and just made trade & research with another friend(he,he) when he checked the stats he found I had twice the intel he did and for some strange reason the Cu Cuppa broke their treaty and went to war with him (hmmm). The look on his face and his tone of voice when he saw the intel was priceless, let alone watching him franticaly changing his research etc, and asking my ally what I was doing with all that intell, (the plot thickens),

PS I would love to have hotseat with you but I live in Ohio and Manhatten is just to far to drive on a weekend. But if I'm ever in the neighborhood I'll let you know.
