help with 1.17 patch

Hello everyone ! Just got my SE5 game today . Installed game , upgraded DirectX , and started up everything fine . Went to add patch , got message " file crrupted optain new program ". Wiped everything out ,reinstalled, and same thing happened , tried a third time got same results , what am I doing wrong ? Thanks for your help
