animated gifs

I know that SEIV can�t handle animated gifs (or even JPGs), but would it be too hard to make a patch to SEIV so it can handle animated gifs? (keep in mind that i was a programmer in the time tha Clipper was the bleeding edge of technology and never programed anything since)...
