Hello,

First of all, I would like to hail all of you as I am new member of the board. And then to the question.

I play a lot of SPMBT with my friend in the hotseat mode and I just discovered the B2 jabo with 4x4 JDAMs. It seems that you just can't shoot the bird down with anything. The newest russian made long range sam's cant even target it (well yes the ew value is 24 and the prize of the section is also enormous), so is there any way to get those planes down?

the EW differential is so huge that the SAMS are not bothering to launch.

However - that plane is not really intended for day-to-day use (note the X3 radio code), so best to limit it to scenarios or only when agreed by both players, and limit yourself to normal tac air.

(I may change the code to allow SAM launch at ~5% or so initial odds on occasion though, to put the occasional frightner onto such uber-EW items).

Agree. The B2 is not something that is going to be risked on everyday tactical air support missions. B1 and B-52s are what is typically employed in that role, if the lighter stuff is not enough.

That's an interesting feature you mention here.
May I go as far as asking if it is planned/possible to link that "frightner" shot to SAM unit experience/morale? The idea being that a green/panicky crew would be more likely to fire away even if they have nil chance of hitting.

Just a thought.
