MA Atlantis: Help please
I'm currently playing a game as EA Arco since I haven't played around with water nations much I have decided to start a game with MA Atlantis.
1. Can someone recommend a good pretender build? I'm not used to bless strategies but maybe it's time to try them out?
2. Their troops seem pretty weak. Any good hints?
3. What magic types should I begin to research? I'm thinking about conjuration or evocation.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Yeah, I was planning on writing up a MA Atlantis guide, I'll do that today or tomorrow and post it.

Re: MA Atlantis: Help please
Short answer is try an awake Dagon SC for early expansion with good scales. Your goal for MA Atlantis in SP is to get the combat spell Falling Frost and then use your commanders as massive artillery platforms. You can recruit a commanders that start with up to W7.
Also, your only enemies will be Oceania and R'lyeh because the AI generally doesn't chase you into the sea so once you eliminate your watery rivals you can always out-research the landlubbers.

Re: MA Atlantis: Help please
Thanks for the help guys.
Baalz, I'm really looking forward to reading your MA Atlantis guide.
My biggest concern with this nation is that their troops are so damn weak vs land units(knights etc.). So I guess it's important to have good scales for recruiting as many units and chaff as possible.
sector24: I'm gonna try out a dagon tomorrow. Right now I have started a game with the kraken pretender and he seems pretty kick-*** with all that HP.

Re: MA Atlantis: Help please
The Kraken is great in MP for an awake Pretender strategy. It can take out all the indy water provinces by itself, and help give you an early lead in provinces. It's also decent to the midgame supporting your armies. But..
It has hardly any slots. So it's not very good later in the game when you really need to kit out your Super Combatants.
