				 The Chalice
Despite the fact that I like to play LA Ermor, I make it a priority to acquire The Chalice.
To date, I have been attacked by Umor three times, but I have never been attacked by "questing Knights" as the manual suggests.

Have any of you ever been attacked because of possession of The Chalice?

I think I recall being attacked but I could be wrong.
You have given it to a commander, yes? |

In Dominions II - yes, quite often. In Dominions III, I do not think I have.

 | I've played many LONG MP games and SP games yet never been attacked by the "questing knights" from the chalice, this includes both Dominions_2 and Dominions_3.
I've held possession of the chalice for Dominions_2 and Dominions_3 for at least a combined total of 3000 turns yet no attacks from the rumored knights.
Also I have yet to see anyone post a screenshot of the battle and its message event.

I can't remember anyone claiming to have actually been attacked, so it's safe to assume that they either don't, or they're so unlikely to that it's not worth thinking about. |

I am claiming it. They are not a rumor, they exist, or at least used to existin Dominions II. I was playing Vanheim, and I had the female pretender. Damn,
I wish I had a screenshot. The knight (single attacker)is yellowish or maybe red.

				 Re: The Chalice
I just ran a SP game with a Chalice for about 200 turns. No knights showed. On the other hand, the Eater of Gods showed up 3 or 4 times. I think that once
he dies he should retire... at least for a few dozen turns.

 | If it's not bugged and a single knight can attack the owner of the chalice the odds must be one in ten thousand.

				 Re: The Chalice
Perhaps, as it is a quest for the chalice, its ment to be a single questing knight? *imagines the knights suprise as he rides up to a huge, decaying god from the depths of tartarus. |

A single knight, unless he is very powerful, is just going to get blasted in the face by most mages anyway. |
