Having Trouble updating my Game.

Long ago Dominions 3 was a CD only game. I bought the game back then for about $50 and quite enjoyed it. However I replace my computer a few time sense then and recently I was think of playing again. I can get the game itself to work from the CD (luckily I still have the manual with Code) however I can't get the update to work. I downloaded Windows patch (3.32) and ran it and it. Afterwords however the game will not start. It give a un understandable error message (something like "geniki nek fel" might not remenber) My operating system is windows 7.

Can anyone help? I want to get back into the game, but I don't really want to buy it all over again.

If you haven't already found the Desura forums for Dominions 3, you need to go there. The new patches no longer work with the old CD version, so you would probably have to buy the game again, though you would be better off getting Dominions 4 instead.
