Default CD version of MBT playable without the CD?

Hi All

I've been playing the free download version of SPMBT but finally, because of the holiday season sale, bought the enhanced CD version.

I was wondering..once you install the CD version, do you still have to have the CD in to play it?

That would be negative, it plays fine without the CD in your computer.
Have a great day,

It's just a great game. I began playing the original SP back in the DOS days and in fact still have the CDs from all 3 versions!

I'm not a tactical genius, just a life-long student of military history. SP is great for a few minutes or hours of relaxation. It's a fun game. It allows me to "see" some of what I am reading about. Maybe I also learn a bit while playing.

I've had a bad day so perhaps I will order WinSPWW2 as well.
