Diseased pretender...
Hi,
Thanks to a chillsick swamp (a magic site that spread deadly diseases), some of my commanders including my pretender got a disease.
Is there any way for me to cure him?

You can cure disease like any other affliction. So units with "Healer" (The Faerie court summon gives you one), the Chalice or Gift of Health all work.

Re: Diseased pretender...
You could also try forging "cauldron of chicken soup" and "endless bag of sprite", but they're like level 14 Construction items.

Re: Diseased pretender...
You can also give them a regeneration item (the N2 Rign of Regeneration or S1 shroud of the Battle Saint if you have a nature bless). It won't prevent the affliction gain but they will regenerate to full hp in each battle they participate in.

Re: Diseased pretender...
...although transforming your pretender is not generally considered a wise move.

I've always wondered, does Elixir of Life activate if a commander dies of disease?

Re: Diseased pretender...
A ring of regeneration is definitely a good stopgap move. That should slow down the afflictions and prevent death. Then try to get the Chalice, to cast Gift of Health or to summon a Faerie Court. Note that the first two are Hard, for good reason - they're very powerful. The Faerie Queen will be disappointingly slow to do the healing, but it should work in the end.
I don't thing a shroud works on a pretender.
