What should a zemy be given (in terms of items)?

Re: Zemy
Well, it does have three heads, I'm sure it could spare at least one.

Re: Zemy
More often than not they have those damn lychantropos' amulets. A lot of utility for 5 gems and if the zmey is killed you get the satisfaction of one of their commanders picking it up if they used a mage squad to go after you.

Last I heard commanders no longer pick up cursed items from enemy commanders.

No, I think that change was only made for the slave collar. I've picked up plenty of lychantropos' amulets (and in accordance with Murphy's law it's usually the better mages that end up getting them ).

Re: Zemy
amulet of magic resistance is important. usually that and the lyconthropic amulet and either an elemental resistance ring if you need it or a reinvigoration item if you don't.
Also, if anyone was suitable for a wraith crown (15 death gems) its the zmey. not saying its worth it but if you have tons of death gems, they are a good way to spend them.

Re: Zemy
Pendant of Luck is a pretty obvious choice.
Also remember that Zmeys are pretty cheap (for what you get). Don't undo that advantage by overdoing investment in it!

Re: Zemy
Watch out for losing the low hp retreat reaction on berserk though =3
I find the 3 lives + low hp fly retreat to be a very nice feature on the giving end, though there's certainly circumstances where cheap regen berserk is quite handy.

Well, I'll let out one of my pet little secrets...
I don't try to make zmeys live. Rather.. I give them medallions of vengeance......
